Fred Holland
Head Coach
I am, Frederick Holland, a graduate of Pike County High School and a native of Brundidge, Alabama. Upon graduating from High School, I attended Lurleen B. Wallace Community College on a baseball scholarship. I then enrolled at Alabama State University, where I excelled in baseball as well. I was a member of the SWAC All-Conference Team in 1993-1994. I received my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science from Alabama State University. I have been employed at Pike County High School as Alternative School Director, physical education teacher and head baseball coach. I currently serve as athletic director, head football coach and physical education teacher.

Gerald Holland is a Brundidge native and is a 1992 graduate of Pike County High School. Also, he was a member of the 1989 State Football Championship team at PCHS. During his senior year in high school, he was afforded the opportunity to play in the Alabama East and West All Star Baseball Game. After graduating from high school he attended Enterprise Junior College on a baseball scholarship. During his tenure at Enterprise Junior College, he played in the 1993 Junior College World Series Championship Baseball Game. He later enrolled in Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education, K-12, in 1999. In 2010, he earned a Master of Science Degree in Physical Education from Troy University, Troy, Alabama. Currently he is pursuing an Educational Specialist Degree in Physical Educational, K-12, from Auburn University in Montgomery.

SFC Aaron Young
Assistant Coach
Aaron J. Young, US Army Retired Sergeant First Class and a graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School which is located in Millbrook, Al. SFC Young has been teaching at JROTC at Pike County High School for the past 10 years. For the past 10 years the PCHS JROTC program has been awarded the Honor Unit with Distinction Award as being in the top ten percent of all army JROTC programs. He is currently coaching Varsity /JV football, Varsity girls basketball and softball.

Joey Denison
Assistant Coach
I graduated from Charles Henderson High School in Troy, Alabama where I was a 3 year starter on the football team which won the 1980 State Championship. I played collegiate football at the University of North Alabama for 1 year and Troy State University for three years of which I played offensive guard/tackle on the 1984 National Championship Team. I graduated with a B.S. /M.S. in Mathematics. I have 27 years’ experience in coaching on the high school/collegiate levels and 22 years’ experience in teaching mathematics. I am married to Sharon Denison who is also an educator and have two sons-Will and Joey.
