The Pike County High School Band had two students selected to the SEUS Honor Band & Conductor's Clinic hosted the first weekend in February at Troy University. This year there were almost 500 high school students selected from high schools across the southeast in what is similar to an all-star concert band. Four directors are chosen from prestigious high school and college band programs and they spend three days rehearsing and preparing for a concert with the students. Seniors have the opportunity to audition for a music scholarship to Troy University at this event as well. Emily and Zyion are both 10th graders at PCHS and attended this event as trumpet players.
