My teaching experience consists of teaching Physical Education K-6 at D.C. Wolfe Elementary School in Macon County Alabama and Pike County Elementary School in Brundidge, Alabama. I served as an assistant defensive football coach at Booker T. Washington High School of the Macon County School System (2000-2008, 2010-2012) and the head basketball coach at Pike County High School of the Pike County School System (2009). I also worked strength and conditioning program at a Booker T. Washington High School.

I am a Brundidge native and a 1992 graduate of Pike County High School. After graduating from high school, l I attended Enterprise Junior College on a baseball scholarship. During my tenure at Enterprise Junior College, I played in the 1993 Junior College World Series Championship Baseball Game. Later, I enrolled in Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, K-12, in 1999. In 2011, earned a Master of Science degree in Physical Education from Troy University, Troy, Alabama. Currently, I am pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Physical Educational, K-12, from Auburn University Montgomery. My awards and recognitions include: receiving the Troy Messenger’s 2009 Basketball Coach of the Year Award and the Dothan Eagle 2015 Basketball Coach of the Year. Also, Pike County Distinguished Citizen Award from the United Women League of Troy Alabama.
